An incredibly easy recipe using Baby Limas and Hurst's Original Ham Flavor. Kids love it too!

Ingredients

  • 1- Package HamBeens® Baby Limas with Ham Flavor
  • One can condensed tomato soup
  • 2- cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10-12 cups water
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • *OPTIONAL: Your choice of meat (1 lb.)

Cooking Directions ( reviews )

  1. Rinse and sort through the beans. Check for any unwanted debris or dirt and discard.
  2. Place beans in a large stock pot with water and bring to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 1.5 hours.
  3. Discard excess water and pour beans into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Stir in condensed tomato soup, cheese, and contents of flavor packet. (add cooked meat at this time)
  5. Bake at 350˚ for 45-60 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
